About Us We enlighten and empower private timber land owners  with our unique products and information services. We specialize in timberland management and

Our mission is to promote sustainable forestry through maximum utilization of  forest resources.

Superior forests are achieved  following a forest management  plan developed in partnership with Michigan timbered landowners.

At least 40-60% of hardwood trees in a forest have no other use than firewood, chip or pulpwood.  To keep forests in top shape we have a firewood program that empowers landowners, enabling  management of  this resource in accord with their forest plan.

Standing Timber is managed to maximize your enjoyment of your forest. This varies with the ultimate objective(s) set forth in your management plan. Our missions to help you achieve those goals.  We believe that lumber production is certainly a valid goal, but so is habitat improvement and recreational enjoyment.

Veneer logs are harvested and competitively sold to the highest bidder at veneer sales. Veneer trees usually account for 1-2% of timber harvested.

We believe that forest management is more than  just having some trees logged off every few years.  We provide landowners with the information that they need to make informed decisions.
